Opening a Torzon URL with Tor Browser for Android
Phones make long addresses harder to read. A few habits keep mobile visits accurate.
Install only the official app
Get Tor Browser for Android from the Tor Project or the official app store listing. Lookalike "Tor" browsers are a known trap.
Copy, do not type
Typing a 56-character onion string on a phone keyboard invites mistakes. Copy the torzon url from a checked source instead.
Zoom in on the address bar
Before you log in, widen the address bar or zoom in and compare the first and last eight characters at least.
Mind battery savers
Aggressive battery optimisation can kill the Tor connection in the background. Exempt Tor Browser while you are using it.
On a phone, copy the Torzon URL rather than typing it and check both ends of the address.
